These are tough times for everyone, and we appreciate the years of continued support our community has provided to our business.

As you are likely aware, the Humboldt County Health Officer issued a shelter-in-place order for our community beginning March 20, 2020. That order was updated with further restrictions on March 30, 2020. We have reviewed the order carefully to determine its impact on our business operations. We also want to make sure that precautionary measures are put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep our employees and customers safe and healthy.

Businesses that are necessary to supply agricultural products to the community may continue operations during the shelter-in-place order, as may businesses that deliver goods directly to residences, so long as all COVID-19 precautionary measures are implemented and observed.

Accordingly, beginning March 31, 2020, we will be implementing the following changes to our business operations:

Reduced Hours of Operation

The shop will be staffed on a reduced hours basis, from 10AM – 2PM Monday through Friday. Although our showroom will be closed to the public, we will be answering phones making local deliveries during these hours.

Orders may be placed via telephone during our reduced hours schedule. Our website is available 24 hours a day, but orders can only be delivered during our reduced operating hours.

For an emergency (i.e. sympathy work), we can make special arrangements as necessary. You can always leave us a message and we will return your call.

Please note that we have suspended curbside pickup for the time being.

“No Contact” Local Delivery

We are proud to have been delivering flowers throughout Humboldt County for the past 32 years. To do our part in stopping the spread of coronavirus, moving forward we will be instituting a “no contact” delivery policy.

Specifically: (i) will call in advance to alert recipients of any expected deliveries, and (ii) all deliveries will be left at the front door of residences, with a follow-up phone call notifying the recipient that the delivery has been made.

We May Be Temporarily Isolated, But We Are Not Alone

In this time of increased stress and anxiety, studies have shown that flowers can have a positive impact on emotional health and well-being.
